Happy Halloween!

 This Halloween my cousins Nicole and Ben came over to trick or treat with me!  Nicole was a witch, Ben was a ninja and their dogs were princess Leila and a ballerina!    I of course am Abe Lincoln - tons of adults loved my costume!

After my cousins left I went exploring the river next to our house.  It was great fun!  Gram is here also and is going to stay with us for a few extra days.

The costume still fits (the boots finally fit correctly).  I have grown 7-8 inches since the last time I wore this for Halloween! I am still not sure which of my costumes I will wear for Halloween next week. Today I wore the fireman costume for a party at Montessori school.

Ohio Trip

Last weekend mommy and I drove to Ohio to visit my cousins over Halloween!  It was tons of fun to play with my cousins and even Grandfather who visited as well.  I dressed up like Darth Maul, Luke was Harry Potter and Cole was a scary zombie skeleton.  The highlight of the trip was hours of XBox play and Minecraft play - I am a future gamer for sure!

Hello October

Not much has been happening here the past week or two.  I have found an amazing new TV show called PAW Patrol which I can not get enough of - it is Rescue bots but with dogs instead of robots.   I have been working hard in Kindergarten with handwriting, reading, math and all my special classes.  I have decided to be Darth Maul for Halloween, from Star Wars, I already have my whole outfit - mask, shirt, robe and double light saber!  Hopefully I can still go to Ohio for Halloween, the city of New Albany's plan to have trick or treating on Thursday has complicated things - Mom will not find out if she can miss work until that week.

Thor!

Today was "the best Halloween ever!!"   I dressed up like Thor and went trick or treating with my good friends Josh and Kyle.  We hit every single house in my neighborhood and now I have so much candy!! Everyone said I made a good Thor with my hammer, helmet and my big muscles.   That was so much fun, I can't wait to do it again next year!

McCall's Pumpkin Patch 2012

This morning we went to McCall's pumpkin patch.  It was lots of fun, I saw lots of animals and played on the cow train, on slides, in a new massive fort playground and in an old farm kitchen.  I only lasted 2 hours before I was tired and wanted to take a nap (imagine how long I will last at Disney at Christmas time?!)  I wonder what kind of pumpkin patch I will go to next year in Virgina?

halloween spirit

I am starting to get into the Halloween spirit at home.  I helped mommy hang up some spooky spider lights and put up some random witches and gravesigns up around the house.

This is my third Halloween.  First Halloween I was Spiderman, second Halloween I was a Pirate and now this Halloween I am Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba!  I was not very happy putting on my Brobee costume until I went outside and saw lots of other kids in costumes.  Then it was tons of fun!  I went to many people's houses and said "Boo!" to get candy and "Thank you" when they gave me a piece. 

McCall's Pumpkin Patch

Today we ventured out to Moriarty, NM to visit McCall's Pumpkin patch (no relation to our good friends Jon & Kristin McCall)  We went here when nana was visiting but we arrived right when it was closing that time and it looked so cool we came back today.  This place had hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin launchers, bouncy houses, animals to pet like goats & bunnies, slides and best of all a cow train. 



The cow train was so amazing I would go for my ride then run back in line to go again.  The whole time I am waiting I am jumping up and down and signing the word please. 

Super fun day!  Plus I was so tired after all this fun I actually took a nap which is rare for me on the weekends.  Later today I am going to carve my pumpkin and tomorrow I am off to the Halloween store to find a costume!  This holiday is fun :)

 Good thing when Dexter got tired of walking Tyler wanted to help pull him.

Check out this pirate booty!  We trick or treated for about 30-40 minutes around base housing before heading home and handing out candy ourselves.  It was a pretty good turn out and Dexter really liked handing out candy at home, or at least moving candy from his bucket into the bucket we were using to store the neighborhood kid's candy.  I will post a few more pictures on facebook.

Pumpkin

We finally carved a pumpkin today and just in time for Halloween tomorrow!

I'm a pirate!

Thank you Gram for making my halloween pirate costume! I really love it. Now I just need to get my pirate sword and hem the pants up a little bit and I will be ready to trick or treat!
