Cousin week

I spent the last 3 weeks with my cousins Cole and Luke.  Most of that time was in Ohio but the past 4 days were in Virginia.   We went to Lincoln's cottage, National Shrine, Ford's theater, and the National Zoo.  We did rest one day where we just played at home and went to the swimming pool .  It was a great 3 weeks and hopefully I can do it again next summer.   Now I need to relax for a day before I go to 4 weeks of summer camp at my Montessori school.

Nothing happening

For the past 2 weeks Dexter has been in Ohio playing with his cousins and adding to the craziness at the Johnston house.  Tomorrow he comes home, cousins in tow, and we spend the rest of the week together seeing sights in DC before it is back to school.   

While Dexter has been gone, we have gone through the house and put up some things for sale and donated some kids clothes/toys to co-workers.  One of the things we are selling is a really old point and shoot camera.  Before selling it we uploaded some pictures, so here is a journey back in time to when I was a chubby 6 month old baby!

Fishing & Boating

Yesterday Daddy and I took the day off from school and work and went boating around Burke Lake.  I would also say we went fishing, but we only caught 1 fish!   We also rode a train and ate ice cream!  It was the best day with Daddy ever!
