Tool boxes

With only three weeks left until we move we started to take apart some things around the house and pack them up.  Today the spare TV in the guest bedroom was packed away and the ceiling fan in Dexter's room was packed.   Dan and Dexter did a great job.

10 more days!

Hi there, my birthday is in 10 days.  Two weeks later I move from New Mexico - so please no presents I will just have to lug across country.  I accept presents in the form of play with cousins and grandparents.

Most of the floorings were done this week (hardwood, vinyl and tiles)  Carpet will be done later on for the bedrooms.  Next week appliances will go in and plumbing fixtures will go in.  I have only 4 more weeks in New Mexico! Dan still has 3 more months

Lately all Dexter wants to do is draw pictures.  Here are the ones he drew this morning while I slept in.  He likes to draw the Virginia house, rainbows, aliens and planets (his friends live on Earth, he lives on Saturn)

Cabinets are installed in the house, walls are painted and doors are hung.   This week they are going to tile the master bathroom as well.  The upstairs bathrooms and basement half bath are vinyl flooring.The main level half bath is wood flooring. 

Less than 5 weeks now until final inspection!

The weather can't make up it's mind this month.  One day its warm and the next it is really cold again.  Lucky today was nice so we went on a family bike ride.  I am still using training wheels but we raised them up an inch so I am using them less.

The Exterior - siding is done and stonework has started!

The house is really moving along.  Drees has approved adding in Trex stairs to the back porch to get down on to the lawn and will do it before closing.  The drywall is all hung and next week the drywall will be finished and cabinets will be installed.
