Busy Day

First thing I did today was beg mommy and daddy to take me to the zoo for the 3rd time in 7 days.  I can't say Zoo, but I can say "Moo" and stand on one leg like a flamingo - they understand me so well.  The flamingo's are the first animals you see when you enter the zoo and I really like them.

Then we went to REI (Mommy's favorite store) and went shoe shopping for Daddy.  While there I tried on bike helmets and tried my best to convince them to buy me a bike. 

Beds

Why do I even have a bed?  I have slept on a sleeping bag in the corner of my room for a week now.

Hose

When I get home from school I like to cool off by playing with the water hose in our back porch.

Drawing

Lately I love to draw pictures of my family or certain letters (A, O, and E)

Spiderboy

I have Spiderman slippers now, which really completes the outfit.  Daddy is helping me with my spider powers like breaking arm tackles and hanging upside down.

Duncan and Aine

This weekend my good friends Duncan and Aine McCall came to visit on their way home from Disneyland in California!  We had tons of fun playing and eating together.  I can't wait to visit them again, next time at their house in Colorado. 

Potty Trained.

I have not had a pee accident in 2 weeks now.  This includes a week in Florida where I peed in my grandparent's potty, bathrooms at football stadiums and tennis complexes.  I even brought my potty chair to my great-nana's and peed there with no accidents.  The only time I wear a diaper now is at night, which I tolerate but usually want off right away in the mornings.   Poop is still a little more questionable, I can poop in the potty but it still freaks me out some.  I would say I am about 75% trained with poop, sometimes I go right at bedtime after I get my diaper on.

My language has improved slowly over the past couple months as I am talking more, but it is still hard for most to understand my language.  I have distinct names I call animals consistantly, but they arent what you call them (except horse).  Hopefully I will keep talking and making progress, I meet my speech lady every week to work on it.

I see.. (skip bear) doh (bird), quak quak (duck), blue horse, ba-bap (frog), maw (cat), haha (dog), maa (sheep), fooph (fish), mama!

Great-nana

Yesterday I drove to Jacksonville to visit my great-nana and great-grandfather.  I showed them how good I am at puzzles and using my iPad.  After lunch we went for a walk on the beach.  I got to run around on the sand, chase birds and run from the waves.  This is my third visit to my great-nana's house and everytime she lived in a different house - hopefully now that they are in an assisted living home they stay put!

Everytime I visit Nana she has a craft project waiting for me.  This time we painted wooden birds.  It was a lot of fun to do.  Mommy and Grandfather painted a bird also but mine was the most colorful one.

Gainesville Tour

While Mommy waits to hear back about the house she wants to buy we decieded to walk around campus and get some exercise.

I love going to gainesville.  I have my own little chair and my own garden.

Travels

Tomorrow I leave for Florida.  This is now my 7th airplane trip and I am not even 3 years old yet!  My big goal for this week is to keep up the potty training.  I have not had a pee or poop accident in 4 days now but still wear a diaper at nighttime.  Hopefully I can do good out of my normal environment.  Mommy's big goal is to buy another rental property.  Hopefully we are both successful!

Warrior Dash

Mommy signed up for a race on my 3rd Birthday. It is called the "warrior dash" and is a 5k run with 12 obstacles during the race.   She said after her race we will have cupcakes, seems like a fair trade off.  Today I helped her stretch before her workout.
