Fake Fish
When I visited my nana in Florida in August we made some fish out of foam and old CDs. Well mommy and I finally got around to putting the eyes on and hanging them up outside. First I had to play with them and show them to daddy. I love arts and crafts!

Fish
Today mommy, daddy and I went to the Aquarium & Botanical gardens. It was pretty fun, I got to see lots of different fish, ducks, birds, butterflies and flowers. I am not sure which I liked best of all, probably the tanks with sharks and stingrays and eels.

Mr. Blue Eyes
Ok, disreguard the tears and red face (I was just crying because mommy took away my hand sanitizer).... don't I have pretty blue eyes :)
You might also note in this picture that I still only have 4 teeth, yup 4 teeth at 16 months old. My cousin Luke has his molars coming in and I am still trying to eat with 4 teeth!

I want my daddy!
I had to leave baby school early on Monday because I had a fever and runny nose. I got to spend all day Tuesday with Daddy and the dogs at home - it was so much fun! Today I am home again but with Mommy. She is not nearly as fun as Daddy. Lucky for me I found Mommy's phone and on the front of the phone is a picture of Daddy so I can look at him whenever I want.
(In the pictures I have my hand on my head because that is the sign for Daddy.)

Patriot Triathlon
Today I did my 4th triathlon. It was my best race yet so I am pretty happy about that. My swim (400m) was done in 7:30, the bike (15.5 miles) was just around 60 minutes and the run (3.2 miles) was about 34 minutes. Total time 1:46 The swim was held in a pool. The bike was in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains so it seemed I was always going up or down, rarely flat. The run was also hilly and the middle mile of the run was on a "trail" - I thought it would be hard packed dirt but it was very loose and deep sand very similar to running on the beach. It was a challenging course and I tried to push myself a bit more - felt good!
The picture is one of my fellow nurses, Jean and then me and Dexter after the race. It was her first triathlon :)

Signs!
As most of you know we have been teaching Dexter sign language. He has added daddy and sleep this last week very consistently. It's been cool to see him sign things in addition to his grunts of "ba-ba" for ball and "mah-mah" for more, etc It's becoming easier to know what he wants and avoid his mini meltdowns which is nice all around!
I decided to make him a little book of people, pets, objects, etc in his world that he interacts with so he could learn a few more signs, plus I just felt the need to be creative and make something.

Blankie
My Aunt Cindy made me this blanket. Do you think its too big to carry around the house? You never know when you need to lay down and use your blanket.

Parisi
So mommy is taking a new class at the gym called Parisi. It is a class similar to something you would have done in high school training for sports. A lot of jumping, running and calisthenics. My Gram made mommy this thing we put on the ground and then jump around the different squares. It is so much fun to try and do it!
