Weekly Video
Here is my latest video, not much to see just me playing on my play mat. I like to whack the items that hang down and squirm around so much that I end up sideways once I am done playing!

Rolled Over!
I just rolled over.
I have no video proof, you will have to take my word for it.
Not to bad for a baby who is only 80 days old!

WoW
Yes I dress my child in World of Warcraft clothes. Thanks to my friend Jake for mailing me the outfit for Dexter! I am thinking since his initials are DK, he will be a human death knight...
If you dont play WoW and have no idea what I am talking about, just carry on until my next blog entry. :)

Skype me
First off, I am growing into my Gators hat. Just in time too, football season starts in just a few weeks.
Secondly, I have joined Skype (Holly's blog reminded me to set this up). For those who watch Oprah you know what it is. It will let me talk to my grandparents using my webcam. So feel free to join at skype.com, its free and easy. I had my first webcam conversation with grandma Kathy tonight and it was great to finally meet her!

Tour de France
Apparently watching TV is a big no-no, but I am just hooked on the tour de france and watch it every night with my daddy. Can't wait until I am bigger and can ride a bike like Lance! I am a livestrong baby after all.
Total side note from mom: Facebook & the internet in general is awesome and has allowed me to get in touch with old friends and family and discover things about them I didnt know. Check out this review a guy did on my cousin's comic book.

Cole's Birthday Video
Here is the 10 minute highlight reel of Cole's 2nd Birthday. It was hard to cut down the party into 10 minutes (the youtube length restriction) but hope you enjoy.
And what good is a blog post without a Dexter picture? So...here you go.

Cole's birthday
I just got back from Cole's birthday party! There was so much going on and so many people to watch. Heather, Jeff, Cole, Luke were joined by Ron & Sally; Shannon, Denny & Taylor; Todd & Brent; Cole's neighbor Tyler and his parents; and of course me and mommy & daddy. Cole got so many cool toys, I stayed awake for almost the whole party. Here are a couple pictures from before the party started.

Coloring Book
Just wanted to show my parents the coloring book I made for Cole's birthday. I decided to include a short tutorial for those people out there with young kids who want to make one. Its extremely simple if you have photoshop. I think it turned out pretty nice and hopefully Cole will enjoy it.

Wiiiiiiiiii
I am happy to report Wii Fit has deemed me Normal again (per their BMI measurement). It took 10 weeks but I have lost 35 pounds and fit into some old jeans today which is always fun. I still need to loose another 15 pounds and think I can do that by the time Dexter hits 6months old especially if I keep breastfeeding. For those of you who play Wii Fit I would highly recommend the new game Wii Active. It takes it to the next level with resistance bands, leg strap to monitor you leg movements and excellent 16 exercise preplanned routines (plus you can create your own routines). You really can get quite a workout from it.
Tomorrow the whole family travels to Columbus for Cole's 2nd birthday - I am sure I will have plenty of photos and videos to share with you after that.

School Time
So I started school today. School is right next to daddy's work on the Air Force Base. There are 8 babies in my room - Alex, Jordan, Sarabeth, Julian, William, John, Trinity and me. Trinity is 2 months old like me but all the others are much older - 4 or 5 months old! It was all very exciting, they have a ton of books, puppets, mirrors, balls, mobiles, blocks, and other stuff to play with. I have 3 teachers also - Brenda, Nikki and Jaime. Mommy tells me I get to come here three times a week while she goes back to work. Don't tell mommy but I cant wait to go back on Thursday to play with my new friends and snuggle with Ms Brenda.

Fun filled Monday
Today was a very busy day, so I decided to wake up 1 hour early at 5am so mommy and daddy would be sure to get everything done. After my third breakfast at 11am I took a bath, then it was off to the airman's attic (Air Force Goodwill) to drop off some things, then to my doctor. The doctor was very happy with my growth. I am up to 11 pounds 11 oz and am 23 1/4 inches long! Then the sneaky doctor had the nurse give me 3 shots of immunizations and 1 immunization drink. The nurse was so good by the time the shock of the first shot hit me she had all 3 done! After I was done at the hospital we went to the new place I will be staying when mommy goes back to work. I met two of the three ladies who work in the baby room and I got my picture taken. The room looked like a lot of fun, there were lots of books, mobiles and toys that I can play with between naps.

2 month update!
Tomorrow I turn 2 months old. Monday I get to visit the doctor to get measured and get shots.
My mom worked on this great video for me to celebrate turning 2 months. The song is the theme song to the TV Show "Dexter" - Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Skills I have mastered:
Smiling, laughing & squealing in delight at people. (people love this!)
I can sit up in my Bumbo chair for around ten minutes before I start to slump over.
I can imitate several facial moves like sticking out my tongue or making shapes with my lips.
I can make several sounds now like "O, Ooh, Aah" which apparently my mommy and daddy like better than crying.
Stuff I am working on:
Still working on thumb sucking. I can get my hand to my mouth pretty well now but something always jars it loose!
Eating calmly. Sometimes I feel like eating and cause no problems, however often I like to be very fussy and arch my back or thrash my head around (I especially like to do this when daddy is feeding me a bottle of breastmilk)
Sleeping through the night - this week I slept from 11pm-6am five times, the two other times I just had to wake at 3am for food. It's hard work growing!
Likes:
Going for walks is still my favorite.
I like getting licked by my doggies, but for some reason my mommy and daddy always stop them.
I like to eat once I am settled down...I eat between 4 and 5 oz 6 times a day!
I love gripe water - this is magical water that instantly makes me calm and happy and somehow gets rid of my hiccups.
Dislikes:
I don't really enjoy laying on my belly and often spit up some milk just to show mommy how much I dislike it. I don't mind tummy time on mommy's chest however, it's that hard floor I dislike.
Top of my list would have to be when I loose my pacifier or my hand/thumb gets out of my mouth.
