Abraham Lincoln

For the past two weeks I have been learning as much as I can about President Lincoln.  In a few weeks I need to present information about the president to my classroom.  The 4 kindergartners each got assigned a president (Brett got Washington, Leah got Kennedy, Edward got FDR).  Each week we have to write down information about the president and then at the end of the 4 weeks we are supposed to dress up like the president and teach the class about them.  The 4 homework assignments were: 1) Who am I?  2) When did I live? 3) What am I known for? 4) Where can you see me now?

I have been all over DC to learn more about President Lincoln.  I have been to Ford's theater where he was shot, the Peterson house where he died and the Soldier's home where he lived while president during the summer months.  I still have not gone to the Lincoln memorial, but I plan on it soon!
