April update

April was all about winning in the Karrels house.   Dan won multiple awards at work, Ali won the Mark award at work and Dexter tested into gifted reading.    Dexter also started flag football which has been a fun sport for him to play and for us to watch!  It has been a great month!

 

Winter update

My blogging has gone down the tubes over the past 1-2 years as more and more just gets displayed on Facebook.  Hopefully I can maintain at least a monthly update on this blog for easier strolls down memory late in the future.

Right after the Women's March.  I traveled to Ohio to visit Heather & family.  It was a nice long weekend of basketball games and poster making!

October Update

Time for an update.  School is going great!  I love my new school and my teacher Mrs. Salley.  I was the "star student" for the first month of the year and been doing great on all my subjects.

When not at school I am doing Karate. I am currently a 1st degree gold belt and I am working 3 times a week at progressing to my next belt.    I am also hanging out with my grandparents alot this month! 

Finally the other thing I have done this month is explore sailboats at the Annapolis boat show.  

Summer travels

Sorry I haven't been around the past month.  I have been very busy traveling!  I spent a week with Gram in Maryland.  Then I spent a week at home with Nana.  I went to summer camp at my new elementary school, Victory Elem.   Now I am in Ohio with my cousins!   I am too busy to post on my blog!!

Grasshoppers, Tooth Fairy & Grandfather!

I am trying baseball again, this time Mommy is an assistant coach.  So far I am enjoying it better than T-ball a few years ago. 

Thursday April 14th I lost my first tooth!  It is also Grandfather's birthday and he came to visit me the next day :D

Today I lost my second tooth!  Now both my bottom teeth are missing.  It feels so weird having them gone!

Snowmaggedon!

So much snow!   Last week all of Virginia prepared for a great snow storm.  Schools closed Thursday (even though snow wasn't coming until Friday afternoon) and has remained closed all this week.  Well snow and winds did come Friday and didn't stop until around midnight Saturday.   We got a little over 2 feet of snow and I think this confirms that we are all Florida people.  Snow is fun for about 10 minutes and then we remember that it is cold and wet and go back inside.

Nice Nana Visit

 Bye Bye Nana!   We will all miss you and the nice warm weather you brought up with you to Virginia!

Nana came and stayed with us for 2 weeks.  We did puzzles, made crafts , made funny videos and read tons of books.  I can't wait to see her again!

Visiting Great Nana

Today we had a nice visit at Aunt Beth's house. We got to see Great Nana, Beth, Shane, Amanda's family (Jason, Cameron and Olivia) and Cynthia and her new husband Chad.  It was great to see great Nana looking so good and Cynthia shared the news that she is pregnant!

Vacations and Birthdays!

Before we drove down to Key Largo we stopped by our old home in Pembroke Pines!

Last week we all went down to Key Largo for a week of relaxation!  It was great fun to hang out at the timeshare, eat Publix subs, put puzzles together, go fishing and paddleboarding.  Dan and I also went down to Key West for 2 days before returning the Key Largo on Dan's 40th Birthday!
